Lazzoroni is a historic company which created the the Amaretti di Saronno. In fact, ‘amaretti di Saronno is a registered trademark of the Company. It was officially marketed under this brand name in 1888. However, the the original baking of the cookies in the family dates back to 1718, when the Lazzaroni family, whose origins are in Teglio, in Valtellina, moved to Saronno and began the small-scale production of amaretti.

Majani (Scorza & Fiat)
Majani was the first chocolate maker to produce hard chocolate from the liquid drinks that were enjoyed by European aristocracy and clergy through the late 1700's. The Scorza chocolate in this package is an exact duplicate of that original chocolate which went on sale to the general public in 1832. Their original shop opened in the center of Bologna in 1796 and is still in service today.
You will also enjoy the world famous FIAT cube, made for one of the early FIAT automobiles in 1911. It is a fine chocolate made with four interchanging layers of milk chocolate and various fillings.
